Safe Sleep Awareness Month

September is Safe Sleep Awareness Month. Over the last 10 years, the greater Hampton Roads region has lost 277 infants from unsafe sleep. While we hope to raise awareness about how to prevent these tragic deaths, throughout the year, we plan a few special events to highlight the importance of our cause each September, in the hopes of keeping all of our babies sleeping safely. For more information see the upcoming events page.

Sleeptight originally began as the Manger Project. A small group of local churches donated funds towards the purchase of pack-n-plays.

The community is essential to preventing sleep-related deaths. Several amazing groups working in Hampton Roads in unique ways.
