  • Your baby should sleep alone and on his or her back in the crib.

  • Do not place decorative pillows, quilts, comforters, blankets, sheepskins or stuffed animals in the crib while your baby is sleeping, as they may prevent proper air circulation around your baby’s face.

  • Use only a fitted bottom sheet that is specifically made for the crib.

  • DO NOT add any extra padding to the crib mattress.

  • When your child is able to push up on hands and knees stop use of the bassinet feature.
